MY STORY

Today

While I have a true appreciation for the unique beauty found throughout the world, I can say I have a love for our mountains, lakes, and streams found abundantly throughout North Georgia.  My husband Warren and I are empty nesters and enjoy visiting our three sons living in Austin, Richmond Hill, and Athens.  Warren grew up in South Georgia but spent many summer vacations in North Georgia.  Aside from our landscape's natural beauty and our milder summer climate, our interests include the region’s farm-to-table dining and culinary scene, hosting and entertaining visitors to the area, boating on Lake Burton, and refurbishing antique furniture.

Before North Georgia

Before moving to the North Georgia mountains, I spent much of my life in urban San Diego.  I have an affinity for my native Mexico, the California coast, and its Mediterranean climate and natural beauty.  My husband and I travel and enjoy experiencing new cultures through food, music, and art.  How is this relevant to you?  My earlier life and travels have broadened my cultural and aesthetic senses which serves me well as a realtor in North Georgia.  Like our individual lives, real estate is multi-dimensional and one of life’s greatest investments.  Making choices around where we live and invest requires perspective, empathy, pragmatism, and good judgment.  I have that.

My Professional Life

After earning my bachelors degree in Business Administration, I worked as an accountant with a large global manufacturer. A few years in accounting and administration led me to desire working more closely with people.

I then transitioned into marketing support for an international recruitment firm and even hosted a local morning news program.

Once family responsibilities became my priority, I turned to self-employment by providing small businesses accounting, administrative, and marketing support.

After my youngest son reached relative independence, I became a licensed realtor, working closely with buyers and sellers. I thoroughly enjoy this profession because it allows me to leverage my life and work experiences to help others achieve their dreams and objectives.

I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing me to serve the Hispanic community in and outside Georgia.
